Hi! It's Stroke TV Founder Aaron Avila  I remember before my stroke in 2010, I used to think people in wheelchairs really don't seem to have it so bad. I mean they sit in a chair all the time. Now that I personally have been in a wheelchair nine years, the pain has become so chronic! Know that when you see someone in a wheelchair you're looking at someone who is grateful for the mobility but it comes at a price. Being in a wheelchair is extremely painful! The human body was not meant to sit for years. I just wanted to raise awareness for everyone in a wheelchair.  Give people in a wheelchair a healthy dose of compassion, understanding and love. I will walk again! Love energy your way! Aaron 

My heart breaks at the cataclysmic life shattering effect stroke has on a person's life. I am utterly broken watching people around the world hurt and suffering from the cruel hand of stroke. Especially stroke survivors with Aphasia (loss of the ability to form sentences and communicate). Stroke is cruel! But wait! There's hope! Aaron’s Stroke Chronicles Episode 2. (Outline) Last week recap. Cataclysmic Headaches Begin! I told no one how painful my headaches had become. The headaches became so painful I began to think to myself, only death would bring me relief. I even contemplated suicide at one point. I laid on the bed for weeks prior to my brain aneurysm rupture. I have no memory of the day my brain aneurysm exploded.  Rebecca told me what I can't remember. As fast as lighting strikes my life would change forever. My Brain Aneurysm Exploded! I was doing my normal AM get ready to go to work routine. While I was taking my shower my aneurysm exploded and dropped me like a rock in our all tile shower.  (I should have died that day)  Death breathing  Rebecca told me it sounded like I was dying. Ryan had just started walking to school when Rebecca called him on his cellphone. She screamed “Ryan run home now! There is something really wrong with your dad! The Fire Truck and Paramedics
