Hi! It's Stroke TV Foundation Founder Aaron Avila. Jerry hosts his stroke community topic show every Monday at 7 AM PST and I Host my show topic every Wednesday at the same time. I try and create topics I personally have gone through or I am going through or I feel a tug in my heart. Then I read Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor's book, My Stroke Of Insight. It was life changing for me! I began to dream again! Another source of life changing significance and inspiration came from a man you wouldn't ever expect.  He has no presence in the stroke community until now.

I'm determined to learn to wakeboard again! In this clip I actually begin to get up wakeboarding but went over the handlebars! Next weekend Ryan and I are going out early (6 AM) to try again. In Wednesdays show I would like to have a community discussion about where our biggest enemy lives and is attempting to block our rebuilding our lives after a stroke. Paul Cummings said in this video, that you need to walk in the bathroom, look at yourself in the mirror and that person you see looking back at you say, I have met the enemy .......................... and it is me! So often we convince ourselves that stroke now limits our potential. Our possibility to achieve greatness and impact the world. We put ourselves in the box labeled stroke survivor. Our mind convinces us we have no value as a human anymore. I mean look at yourself. You're a train wreck! You can't walk, you're half paralyzed, you're wheelchair bound with a speech deficit. You will be unable to live stream let alone host a talk show.  You will never achieve success! I am now CEO of a global nonprofit called Stroke TV Found

Jerry and I have been talking about our priorities in our lives and we are going to be making some much needed broadcast changes.  (See The Updated Stroke TV Guide Here). Jerry and I have been working and broadcasting way to much! Here's what Jerry and I have decided to do. Broadcast Changes. (Effective Immediately) ! Note:  Jerry and I must make these changes community and make our relationship with our wives Barbara Wald and Rebecca Avila  our  #1 priority. #2 Priority is rebuilding our lives after stroke. (Therapy) So effective immediately we will broadcast the Shooting The Breeze With Jerry and Aaron on Monday and Wednesday only at 9 AM CST.
