For those people who have been following my journey since my brain aneurysm and stroke in 2011 , know that I have been on a spiritual journey. This life altering event began when I died and I had a near death experience. Listen people, this near death experience was more life changing than my brain aneurysm and stroke that left me half paralyzed, in a wheelchair, speech deficit and cognitive issues. You see, through God's amazing grace , unfailing love and mercy, God gave me a second chance at life on earth. In this new life, I have been seeking and learning the absolute truth of my life on planet earth.   One of the foundational people God has used in my life is Steve Harvey. After hearing Steve talk about Albert Einstein's quote for years, it finally clicked and I'm starting to understand just how powerful and life changing this truth really is. Hi, It is Aaron Avila, Founder of Stroke TV Media LLC. Last night for some reason, several pictures I used to draw as a teenager come to my memory. I had a super strong energy pull to attempt to draw one of the pictures last night, now eleven years post stroke. I didn't know then, the lightning bolt was the international symbol for stroke. It is clear, stroke survival was my spiritual destiny. God's hand was in my life when I didn't even know who he was. I know who God is after my near death experience. I will draw the other picture can see in my minds eye soon.

  Hi everyone, It's Aaron Avila, Founder and CEO of Stroke TV Foundation . I think one of the hardest things to deal with as a half paralyzed, in a wheelchair stroke survivor, is being totally reliant on my wife (Rebecca Avila)  and constantly feeling like a burden to Reecca. Never really being able to give back to her in a meaningful way. Well last night I saw her having to deal with some negative energy matters. I wanted to do something for her that would give her some much needed positive energy.  So, in the past I have successfully cooked myself some eggs and hash browns for breakfast, so I remembered the night before for dinner Rebecca made Philly Cheese Steaks. I noticed there was some leftover Bell Peppers, Onions and Steak in the fridge. Being a Foody and Ameture Cook before my stroke, I said to myself, I'll surprise Rebecca while she was in the backyard talking to a friend on the phone by cooking her something dinner.
