  Hi, I am Aaron Avila . I am thirteen years post brain aneurysm and stroke . I am currently in a wheelchair and I still have a goal to walk independently one day. When I saw this video below, a voice inside my mind said, you will do that again one day.  It had to be God because only God could give me the faith to believe I could play golf again one day before it's my time to leave this world and see my father again. To give you an idea how good I was, I was a 3 handicap golfer and that means I could almost shoot even par. Now I am just handicap. lol So I ask you to please pray I walk and play golf again.   Hi, I am Aaron Avila.  I am thirteen years post brain aneurysm and stroke survivor. I have been a wheelchair user ever since my stroke. I went to the store with my wife Rebecca today. It has been a while but I sit in the car and people watch while she shops. I realized today, more than ever, how effortlessly people walk. Their balance is perfect, their toes pick up at precisely the right time, never having to give one thought to walking.  Then I have memories of being one of them. Walking, getting in a car and effortlessly driving off. I assure you, like me, I took all my abilities for granted.  I am here to tell you people, do not take your life or your abilities for granted like I did. Because as fast as lightning strikes, as with me, all of those abilities you took for granted, can be taken away. I only want to remind you to pause, and just say thank you to God for all you have.
