 Hi, my name is Aaron Avila.  I am a 16 year post brain aneurysm stroke survivor. I'm also founder of a stroke support movement called Stroke TV Movement called Stroke TV Media. I start each morning by watching encouraging videos like this. TOPIC Happiness is our decision and "not" based on a feeling.  Happiness "is not" something we look for outside of our lives. Happiness is not something we chase outside of ourslives.  "We say" If I get this, I'll be happy"  We need to realize, our happiness is already inside our minds. Hi, I am Aaron Avila, Sixteen years ago, on September 17, 2010, I suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke.  That experience turned the last sixteen years into a deep journey of analyzing my mind and the way I think.  For a long time, I didn't realize I was unknowingly training my mind to live in the past, or to get lost in a future full of troubles and worries that never actually happen. After watching this video, I realized I am part of the 48% of people who do not live in the present moment. I don't want to reach the end of my journey only to realize that I spent half of my life missing out on truly living—trapped by past regrets or future anxieties.  I hope this video sparks a positive change for you also. As many of you know, I have spent the last decade building our beautiful Stroke TV Media Network community on Facebook. Unfortunately, I have some frustrating news to share. Our page was targeted by hackers, and this time, they managed to lock me out completely. It is incredibly disheartening that anyone would target a community built entirely on support and recovery, but that is the reality we are facing right now. I am going to keep exhausting every avenue to recover my Facebook profile, but after countless hours of fighting the system, the page remains shut down. Honestly, I am tired of dealing with Facebook hackers. But a setback is just a setup for a comeback. We are not stopping. We are moving everything to YouTube.
