My show topic: Dare to dream again stroke survivor!
It's Stroke TV Foundation Founder Aaron Avila.
Jerry hosts his stroke community topic show every Monday at 7 AM PST and I Host my show topic every Wednesday at the same time.
I try and create topics I personally have gone through or I am going through or I feel a tug in my heart.
Here's my story if you've never read it https://stroketv.blogspot.com/p/a.html
I chose this topic because at one time, right after my stroke, I was dark, isolated and suicidal.
Then I read Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor's book, My Stroke Of Insight.
It was life changing for me!
Here is Jill's book on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/My-Stroke-Insight-Scientists-Personal/dp/0452295548/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=My+Stroke+Of+Insight.&qid=1566944393&s=gateway&sr=8-1
Worth every penny!
I began to dream again!
Another source of life changing significance and inspiration came from a man you wouldn't ever expect.
He has no presence in the stroke community until now.
It was legendary businessman Jeffrey Hayzlett.
Here's Jeff's website http://hayzlett.com/
Jeff at the time, had just published a new book called Think Big Act Bigger.
(The Rewards Of Being Relentless)
Here it is on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Think-Big-Act-Bigger-Relentless/dp/1599185741/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1G5ORFF0OAEHF&keywords=think+big+act+bigger+by+jeffrey+hayzlett&qid=1566945457&s=gateway&sprefix=Think+Big+Act+Bigger%2Caps%2C552&sr=8-1
I took Jeff's legendary business attitude and I applied it to my stroke survivor life.
Jeff gave me the confidence and the vision to chase my dreams again.
Even though I'm half paralyzed, in a wheelchair and have a speech deficit, I can achieve success.
How? Attitude! I need to become relentless in my stroke survivor life and fully believe I can accomplish great things!
I learned to "Think Big And Act Bigger" as a stroke survivor.
Here's an inspirational I created thanks to Jeff's inspiration!
Here's a video I made Jeff from back in the day https://youtu.be/jr8IzXzZeGQ
