Only Two Ways We're Going Stroke Survivor

 

Hi, I'm Aaron Avila, I'm a 15 year post brain aneurysm and stroke. I realize on my 15 year stroke journey that I've only been traveling in two directions for 15 years. I realize now (15 years post) I am ether rebuilding my life after stroke with home therapy or I'm rolling backwords down hill by doing nothing and (thats regressing). As leader of Stroke TV Media, I know many stroke survivors tha believe they are surviving stroke and are making no effort to rebuilding their lives after stroke and think their okay sometimes for years post. Reality is we're not! Remember, we're either rebuilding our lives after stroke or regressing after stroke. We are telling ourselves a lie if we think we can make no effort to rebuild our lives our lives after stroke through various therapies. This is a lie of stroke! I realize after this long, there is "no" automatic recovery after stroke. Starting today I will make every effort to do home therapy five days a week, M-F. I'll create a new channel on "Stroke TV Media Network" Channel today and I'll start recording my therapy to keep me accountable to you my brother and sisters.
