The stats are against us.
In the US, someone has a stroke every 40 seconds.
If you had one, there is a 25% chance you will have another one.
So basically, if you have 4 people who have had a stroke, there is a 100% chance that one will have another one and COULD be fatal.
But on the flip side, 80% of strokes are caused by modifiable lifestyle factors.
That means that you might have the power to alter the odds of becoming a “statistic”.
In other words, you CAN potentially prevent a second stroke!
