I wish the medical community would stop telling stroke survivors they will recover or heal from stroke like we have a broken bone.  It gives survivors false hope using words like "recovery" because it is not accurate!  You don't automatically recover from stroke! We really must rebuild our lives after a stroke!   There is nothing automatic about it.  We can only rebuild our lives using the "only real silver bullet in a stroke survivors life called Neuroplasticity".
