  Hi,  My name is Aaron Avila. I'm going on thirteen years post brain aneurysm and stroke.  (Read my story here) . I'm also CEO and Founder of a global stroke movement called  Stroke TV Media .  Here is the network I built. I'm writing to you, using my blog, so my stroke community knows what I am up to. You see, I found my life's purpose in my storm. I can honestly say, My Brain Aneurysm and Stroke are the best life events that have ever happened to me. And why do I say that? As a professional stroke survivor of 13 years. lol I think stroke hospitals around the world should spend at least the first three weeks after stroke and prior to any physical therapy, it is vitality critical to build a strong foundation of positive mindset.   Hi, It is Aaron Avila, CEO of Stroke TV Media . What I find sometimes even I focus on what I can't do. I have been in a wheelchair thirteen years, half my body is not usable, sometimes I just hate this fucking stroke. I watch TV of people walking, laughing and having fun. I watch fishing shows and remember that use to be me. Stroke leaves you handicap yet, you can remember all the things you used to be able to do. I am always telling my stroke community to focus on what you can do, and not what you can't do. Once in while I begin to focus on what I can't do and if I continue this wrong focus, it will lead me down a rabbit hole of despair and depression. Than I called my good friend Cheri Paterson in Niagara Falls and after telling her how I feel, Cheri says to me, remember God has chosen you and I need to remember the dreams God gave me. I am  Aaron Avila , CEO and Founder of  Stroke TV Media .  Due to lack of community interest, I have decided to cancel this weekly event. Over the last 8 years serving the stroke community I have learned that I may come up with an idea for a weekly event like this one, I try it, and if it doesn't go anywhere and no one responds, now is not the time. I have had many projects I felt were inspired, only to fall dormant for years. Only for God to inspire me that now is the time to launch the project. When this happens, it fits like a perfect puzzle piece and the project is received and engaged with by the community. When this occurs it feels like a modern day miracle.  I feel God has me do all the work needed in advance. So when God says it's it's time, everything is ready and it's absolutely amazing to see God's mighty hand at work and his miracle unfold. Trust me peeps,  This has happened many times over the years and I'm excited and humbled how amazing God is! So

 Hi, I'm Aaron Avila, CEO/Founder of Stroke TV Media .  Thanks to  Sheila Thelen , CEO/Founder of Vestibular Training Services   I have realized just how significant the Vestibular Organ is to living a balanced life. This significant yet tiny organ is commonly missed or not discussed within my stroke community. My gut tells me there is something very significant here. When I first woke up from my coma, after surviving a brain aneurysm and stroke in 2010 , I had such extreme balance issues I was unable to sit on the edge of my hospital bed without falling over.  I think now, after thirteen years in a wheelchair and struggling with balance issues that my Neuro Pathways running from my Vestibular Or to my brain have been damaged by my brain aneurysm and stroke. Why am I excited about this discovery? For the first time since my brain aneurysm and stroke I feel I can focus on one area of my therapy that may unlock an area of my rehab that holds the most potential for rebuilding my lif
